Hey lovelies! Allison here! So the other day, I was watching one of my all-time favorite movies! Mean Girls! So, when I say how to be a Mean Girl for a week, I don't mean how to be mean to other people, that wouldn't be a good tip. This would just be a fun thing to do with your friends, called the "Mean Girl Rules." They're from the movie and fan websites. I hope you like them!
 
-You can't wear a tank top two days in a row.
 
-You can only wear your hair in a ponytail once a week.
 
-You wear pink on Wednesdays.
 
-You only wear jeans or track pants on Fridays.
 

I suggest, to make this all worth while, do it with 3 other friends, if possible, try to completely mimic the Mean Girl look. Even try to act like the characters if possible. Just have fun with it. It'll make memories to last a lifetime.

also, apologies if any are repeated/from the other set. it's pretty late and yeah...

So let's say you want a Macbook Pro, but either your parents can't afford it, you have to wait until a birthday/christmas. etc. But you want it now. the best way is to save up your money you get from birthdays, christmases, events etc.
 
Get a jar, and tape a paper onto it. Then write 'what you're saving for' money. make sure it's visible, but not to visible. Then every time you get change, or extra money. Put it in the jar.
 
You can even put the amount you need and count down. It gets you more motivated to save.

O1; First find the desired style and fit of your t-shirt. You can go for a bigger tee giving you a roomier crop fit or go for something smaller and fitted
 
O2; Now this step is crucial for your top to be how you like it. Put the shirt on and mark a spot with a pencil on where you want your shirt cut. REMEMBER, it’s ALWAYS better to start longer because you can always make it shorter, but you can’t add fabric for length once you’ve already cut it.
 
O3; Now that you’ve marked where you want your shirt cut and cropped, it’s time to get to cutting. Take some fabric scissors (or regular scissors if you don’t those), and cut a straight line all the way across the t-shirt. Make sure your scissors are sharp because you don’t want any jagged seams.
 
O4; lmost done! After you’re done cutting, take the shirt and try it back on to be sure it’s at the desired length you want your crop top. If you need to make it shorter, then repeat steps 3 and 4. Cuff the sleeves twice and if you want a really crisp look, iron the sleeves down after you cuff them

1- Get to know a friend of the boy you like. If he has a friend who's a girl, get to know her. You will get to hang out with him when she is with him. Try to be included in a group activity with them so that you can talk to the boy.

2- Smile and say "Hi" whenever you see him. After a while, strike up a conversation following the "Hello", preferably about something he likes (sports teams, hobbies etc.) If you have classes or lunch with this boy, that would be a good time to do so. If you are too scared to speak to him in person, then try social networking websites like Facebook or Myspace. Using these can be easier than talking face to face and good ice-breaker, just remember its hard to have a proper friendship only online.

3- Flirt often. Be careful to not over do it. You don't want to look desperate or pushy. Just look at him and wait until he looks at you-- then look away. That signals that you are interested. Laugh a lot!!

4- Get him to notice you. You don't want him to think of you as a friend forever. Give him compliments and find little ways to touch him.

5- Be honest. Don't pretend to be somebody you're not. Guys like an honest girl and not drama queens.

6- Be a good friend. Before you can become his girlfriend, you have to be able to keep his secrets. Don't betray him by telling someone the things he tells you in confidence. Make him trust you so that he can talk to you about anything. This could lead to him believing that you are good girlfriend material.

7- Ask him out after at least a month of being friends. If he says no, you guys can still be buddies. If he says yes, then you've done it! But only ask him/her out when you are sure that he/she likes you! Or it might go wrong! But, if you're satisfied with your new friendship, then you could suggest big groups get together instead and find ways to talk to your crush alone.

little tips:
If he likes someone other than you, don't try to get him to not like her. Or even telling him that you know that she isn't interested. It could end up ruining your friendship. If he's happy, you should be happy for him.

Don't be too available. If he finds out that he can have you whenever he wants, he will use you. Instead, play hard to get!

Don't pretend to be stupid, laugh too much or just be really weird around him! it can ruin your chances! He'll think you're an airhead (or dehydrated)!

Don't point out all of his flaws. Instead, point out the things you like about him.

Don't be too desperate for attention. The time will come when he starts to notice you.

When he says leave him alone, don't take it personally. He probably has just had a rough day and if you nag him about it, he will resent you or feel smothered.

Don't tell him you love him right away. Guys mature slower than girls. He could be weirded out and he probably won't have his feelings about you sorted out yet.

Don't call him 20 times a day. Let him call you, and don't be too excited when you answer the phone. It might creep him out.

Be yourself. If you're wearing clothes and make up that feels uncomfortable, he will see that and might not be interested in you or, he will like the person you are pretending to be.

Don't obsess over him. If it turns out that he doesn't like you, you could be truly hurt.

Don't ask too soon.

a little Warning:
If he has a girlfriend, STAY AWAY. She could be dangerous. She might get jealous and kill you. You're going to be embarrassed if you get in a fight with her in front of the guy you like. But not always their girlfriends will be mean, if they are try to get to their good side. Talk with his girlfriend more and try and at least become friends so she won't feel as threatened later on when you're talking to him. If she shows that she doesn't like you, then don't bother.

A few weeks ago while shopping with my friend, I picked up one of Revlon's Just Bitten balm stains. These have been out for quite awhile and I never got the change, or urge, to try them, but while breaking open the lip products in the drugstore, I happened to swatch one and the color was too beautiful for me not to buy it. But although the color was beautiful, it was somewhat of a let down.
 
THE PRODUCT: The product claims to be a balm infused stain with a gel formula that lasts hours. There are twelve colors, and I picked one named Darling, a cool toned, lilac color.
 
THE PACKAGING: The lip stain is packaged in a chubby, crayon like applicator. The color of the tube itself is whatever color the product actually is, each with a silver bottom, which is where you would twist to dispense more product, no sharpening involved. The name of the product is written on the side in silver, along with the name of the color. The name of the color is also available on a sticker on the bottom of it.
 
REVIEW: When swatched, Darling was beautiful. I am always such a sucker for lilac lip colors (thanks to my beloved Revlon Lip Butter in Gumdrop), and I thought this would be a perfect, light lip color for summer. They were right about the lightweight, soft feel. The product sits nicely on the lips, the color comes off a bit darker, but that could be because of my pigmented lips. The lip stain is soft, not drying, and has a tingling sensation and scent of peppermint, which I didn't mind since it wasn't too overbearing or obnoxious.
The first day I tested this for it's longevity was at an amusement park, where I was for 5+ hours and the lip stain lasted about one hour, give or take. Within an hour it was off of my lips and they had returned back to its original color. Definitely not the long wearing I was expecting. It could be possibly because I was wearing one of the lighter colors. Maybe the deeper colors they offer are longer wearing, but Darling was a disappoint in terms of longevity as well as color.
It was comfortable and I did somewhat like the color on my lips, although not what I was expecting, so I'll probably get some use out of it.
 

OVERALL RATING: 4/10
It wasn't the best lip stain I had tried. If you're looking for something better and are okay with spending the extra money, I'd check out the Tarte Lipsurgance Lip Tints. I have one of those in the shade Charmed, and although one of the lightest shades, it lasted forever on my lips and truly stained them.
But maybe the other shades of the Just Bittens are better since they are more pigmented, but when it comes down to it, this was a miss in my book.
